> Are you a mum with generous curves? Choose a dress that shows off your waist and décolleté, and accessorise as you wish. You can choose any length.
> For a mother with a slim bust but round hips, it's important to balance the silhouette by enhancing the bust with a strapless bra or a top with a push-up bust. It looks great with a skirt that flares out from the hips.
> For a mother with a generous bust and narrow hips, we recommend filling out the bottom with skirted lines on tulle or taffeta skirts with studied cut-outs. To contain your bust, a corset-style bustier will highlight your décolleté without unbalancing the overall silhouette. For this special occasion, don't hesitate to perfect your style with your finest finery.
Chic formal wear in size XL
For a very plump mum, simplicity is the name of the game.
Sober lines that slim without moulding are to be recommended. Shorter, more traditional dresses, with or without sleeves, skirt suits or strapless dresses are judicious choices that are entirely in keeping with the tone.
Choose a low-cut neckline over a low-cut jacket or a Kennedy dress with a pretty, gauzy stole in fancy chiffon.
